Networking at the highest level

Above all, there was joy at the reunion of the industry at the four-day DACH+HOLZ International 2022 in Cologne. Bright faces, intensive and detailed discussions with visitors eager to invest characterized the summer edition of the leading trade fair for the roofing and timber industry. In Cologne, the roofing and timber construction industry gathered information about the products of 342 companies from 20 countries from 05 to 08 July.


Exhibitors and visitors report unisono from a qualitatively high-quality and more intensive exchange. After the pandemic months of the last few months, the primary goal of the approximately 20,000 visitors from over 50 countries was to hold professional discussions, to meet colleagues again and to make new contacts.


alwitra confirmed its participation as an exhibitor very early after the summer edition date of DACH+HOLZ International 2022 was announced. The alwitra team used the trade fair to present the retreaded brand as well as the new brand presence under the slogan "together up here." to the core target group from the roofing trade. Interested visitors were welcomed at a completely redesigned booth with a fresh look and striking colors.


After an expectedly restrained first day of the trade fair, the number of visitors clearly picked up speed from Wednesday to Friday. Wednesday and Thursday in particular were characterized by intensive discussions with existing customers and partners as well as networking with associations and institutions. On Friday, the open and communicative exhibition stand was literally overrun by crowds of visitors from the roofing trade.


"We welcomed around 500 specialist companies, architects, property developers and partners to our stand over the four days," Fritz Stockinger, Managing Director of alwitra GmbH, sums up DACH+HOLZ. "Of these, about a quarter were new customers and interested parties who had direct contact with us and our diverse product range for the first time." The smaller number of exhibitors compared to previous DACH+HOLZ fairs made itself felt rather positively at alwitra, as the visitors had no time pressure. This meant that numerous, intensive and high-quality discussions could be held with customers and interested parties. "From the very beginning, it was noticeable how grateful all participants were to be able to exchange ideas in personal dialog again," reveals Patrick Börder, Head of Marketing at alwitra. "On the one hand, this allowed us to deepen existing partnerships and, on the other hand, to establish numerous new contacts. Overall, we have completely achieved our goal of presenting ourselves as a reliable and service-oriented partner to the roofing trade."


The next DACH+HOLZ International will take place again in Stuttgart from 05 to 08 March 2024 as scheduled. "We are already looking forward to seeing you again in Stuttgart," announces Fritz Stockinger.
