Every downpipe in the building must be routed over the flat roof as a ventilation pipe. Fortunately, this is not a problem with alwitra flat roof vents: the alwitra line vent forms the upper end of drainage downpipes above flat pitched roofs with waterproofing in all types of construction.
In cold roofs, the alwitra cold roof vent ensures appropriate air circulation in the air space.
