Declaration of Performance

With the entry into force of the new EU Construction Products Regulation on July 1, 2013, the conditions for placing harmonized construction products on the market and making them available on the market are regulated. Unlike previously stipulated via the Construction Products Directive (89/106/EEC), CE marking now takes place according to uniform specifications. This is accompanied by the introduction of the so-called "declaration of performance". Behind this term is the description of the warranted characteristics (Chapter II, Art. 4).

The declaration of performance thus serves as a mandatory prerequisite for the CE marking (Chapter II, Art. 8). alwitra offers declarations of performance in accordance with the new EU Construction Products Regulation for all plastic roofing and sealing membranes of the EVALON and EVALASTIC systems.
