Collection of general information
If and when you access our website, information of a general nature is collected automatically. This information (server logfiles) includes, for example, the type of browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and the like. This is, without exception, information which cannot be traced back to you as an individual. Such information is technically indispensable for us to supply correctly the website contents which you request, and it is generated necessarily through use of the internet. We subject anonymous information of this kind to statistical analysis in order to optimise both our internet presence and the technology underlying it.
Registration on our website/ Requesting information materials
When you register for the use of our personalised services or to request information materials, certain personal data are collected, such as name, address, contact and communication data, for example telephone number and email address. Once you are registered with us you can access contents and services which we offer only to registered users. It is also possible for registered users, if they so wish, to modify or delete the data provided in the registration process at any time. When you request information material we use the data placed at our disposal in order to send you the material requested. You can of course also obtain information from us at any time on the data we have stored about you. We will also be pleased to correct or delete the data at your request, except where statutory data retention obligations require otherwise. If you wish to contact us in this connection, please use the contact data supplied at the end of this data protection statement.
If you register for delivery of our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Newsletter subscribers can also be informed by email about circumstances relevant to the service or the registration (for example, changes to the newsletter offer or technical matters).
For an effective registration we need a valid email address. In order to check on whether a registration has in fact been carried out by the owner of an email address, we make use of the “double opt-in” procedure. For this purpose we draw up a record of the order of the newsletter, the dispatch of a confirmation email and the receipt of the reply requested therein. Further data are not collected. The data are used exclusively for the dispatch of the newsletter and are not passed on to third parties.
You can at any time revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and their use for the dispatch of the newsletter. Every newsletter contains a link for that purpose. In addition, you can at any time deregister direct on this website or submit your request to that effect by using the contact data given at the end of this statement.
If you make contact with us by email or by using the contact form, your name and your email address and the other information given by you will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for possible follow-up queries.
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics utilises so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and make it possible for your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie on your use of this website is as a rule transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If the IP anonymising function on this website is activated, however, your IP address is first abbreviated by Google inside the member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the complete IP address first sent to a Google server in the USA and then abbreviated there. Under commission from the operator of this website, Google will use this information in order to analyse your use of the website, compile reports on the website activities and perform, for the website operator, other services related to the use of the website and the use of the internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser in connection with the Google Analytics service is not combined with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of the cookies by means of the relevant setting on your browser software. We must however inform you that in this case you will possibly not be able to make full use of all the functions of the website. You can moreover prevent the transfer to Google of the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of the said data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link:
In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our websites by clicking on this link, which will result in an opt-out cookie being installed on your device. This will prevent the future collection of data by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser for as long as the cookie remains installed on your browser.
Like many other websites, we also use so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files which are transferred to your hard disk by a website server. They automatically provide us with certain data about your computer and your connection to the internet, e.g. IP address, browser used, operating system.
Cookies cannot be used to initiate programs or transfer viruses to a computer. We can use the information contained in the cookies to facilitate your navigation and the correct display of our websites.
In no circumstances are the data collected by us passed on to third parties, nor is a link with personal data created without your consent.
Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website via advertising copy run by Google, a cookie will be placed in your computer by Google AdWords. The Conversion Tracking cookie is placed when a user clicks on an advertisement run by Google. These cookies become invalid after 30 days and cannot be used to identify individual persons. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, it becomes apparent to us and Google that the user clicked on the advertisement and was directed onto the specific page. Every Google AdWords customer (i.e. advertiser) receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained with the help of the Conversion cookie makes it possible to compile Conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have decided to make use of Conversion Tracking. The customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were directed onto a page bearing a Conversion Tracking tag. They are however not given any information that would enable them to identify individual users.
If you do not wish to take part in Tracking, you can refuse the setting of the cookie that is necessary for the purpose – for example by setting your browser to deactivate the automatic setting of cookies in their entirety or by setting it to block cookies from the domain”googleleadservices.com“.
Please note that you may not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you have decided against the recording of measurement data. If you have deleted all the cookies in your browser, you need to reset the opt-out cookie in each case.

You have the right to be given information at any time about the personal data stored on our website. You are also entitled to correct or block your personal data, and to delete the data except in the case of prescribed storage of data for the transaction of business. To enable the blocking of data to be considered at any time, the data must be kept in a blocking file for checking purposes. You may also require the deletion of the data, except where a statutory data retention obligation applies. If there is such an obligation, we will block your data on request.
You can make changes or revoke consent with effect for the future by instructing us to the required effect.

The new data protection statement will then apply to subsequent visits by you to our website.
