This information (server logfiles) includes, for example, the type of browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and the like. This is, without exception, information which cannot be traced back to you as an individual. Such information is technically indispensable for us to supply correctly the website contents which you request, and it is generated necessarily through use of the internet. For this purpose we draw up a record of the order of the newsletter, the dispatch of a confirmation email and the receipt of the reply requested therein. Further data are not collected. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics utilises so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and make it possible for your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie on your use of this website is as a rule transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If the IP anonymising function on this website is activated, however, your IP address is first abbreviated by Google inside the member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the complete IP address first sent to a Google server in the USA and then abbreviated there. Under commission from the operator of this website, Google will use this information in order to analyse your use of the website, compile reports on the website activities and perform, for the website operator, other services related to the use of the website and the use of the internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser in connection with the Google Analytics service is not combined with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of the cookies by means of the relevant setting on your browser software. We must however inform you that in this case you will possibly not be able to make full use of all the functions of the website. You can moreover prevent the transfer to Google of the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of the said data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link:

Link: Browser Add On to disable Google Analytics

In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our websites by clicking on this link, which will result in an opt-out cookie being installed on your device. This will prevent the future collection of data by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser for as long as the cookie remains installed on your browser.

Like many other websites, we also use so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files which are transferred to your hard disk by a website server. They automatically provide us with certain data about your computer and your connection to the internet, e.g. IP address, browser used, operating system.

Cookies cannot be used to initiate programs or transfer viruses to a computer. We can use the information contained in the cookies to facilitate your navigation and the correct display of our websites.

In no circumstances are the data collected by us passed on to third parties, nor is a link with personal data created without your consent.

You can of course in principle also view our website without cookies. The settings on internet browsers are usually such as will accept cookies. You can at any time deactivate the use of cookies by setting your browser accordingly. Please use the help function on your browser in order to see how you can change the settings. Please note that certain functions of our website will possibly not work if you have deactivated the use of cookies.

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website via advertising copy run by Google, a cookie will be placed in your computer by Google AdWords. The Conversion Tracking cookie is placed when a user clicks on an advertisement run by Google. These cookies become invalid after 30 days and cannot be used to identify individual persons. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, it becomes apparent to us and Google that the user clicked on the advertisement and was directed onto the specific page. Every Google AdWords customer (i.e. advertiser) receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained with the help of the Conversion cookie makes it possible to compile Conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have decided to make use of Conversion Tracking. The customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were directed onto a page bearing a Conversion Tracking tag. They are however not given any information that would enable them to identify individual users.

If you do not wish to take part in Tracking, you can refuse the setting of the cookie that is necessary for the purpose – for example by setting your browser to deactivate the automatic setting of cookies in their entirety or by setting it to block cookies from the domain”“.

Please note that you may not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you have decided against the recording of measurement data. If you have deleted all the cookies in your browser, you need to reset the opt-out cookie in each case.
