1.1 Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR)
You can request information at all times regarding which of your personal data we process and how and a copy of your personal data that are stored .

1.2 Right to lodge a complaint at a supervisory authority (Art. 15 Para. 1 lit. f, 77 GDPR)
if e.g. you are of the opinion that our data processing is unlawful or we have not safeguarded your rights to the necessary extent, you have the right to lodge a complaint at the responsible data protection supervisory authority.

1.3 Right of rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
You can request the rectification of incorrect personal data as well as completion of personal data.

1.4 Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
You can safeguard your right to erasure of your personal data. Attention is, however, to be paid hereby that, under certain circumstances, we cannot erase all data relating to you as these are required, for example, to execute and process contracts or the erasure is opposed by statutory, supervisory law or contractual storage obligations.

1.5 Right to limitation of the processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
You can, under certain circumstances, request the limitation to the processing, e.g. if you are of the opinion that your data are incorrect, if the processing is unlawful or you have filed an objection against the data processing. 2. Entry of general information when visiting our website

Type and purpose of the processing:

When you access our website, i.e. if you do not register or send information otherwise, information of a general nature will be entered automatically. This information (Server log-files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the used operating system, the domain name of your Internet-Service-Provider, your IP address, which will be depersonalised by us during the processing activity, and similar details.

These are in particular processed for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring the problem-free set-up of a connection of the website,

The provision of the aforementioned personal data is neither stipulated by law, nor as per contract. However, the service and the functionality of our website is not guaranteed without the IP address. Moreover, individual services may not be available or may be restricted. Type and purpose of the processing:

6. Newsletter

Type and purpose of the processing:

Your data are exclusively used to send you the subscribed newsletter per email. Your name is provided in order to be able to address you personally in the newsletter and, if applicable, to identify you if you would like to exercise your rights as data subject.

The entry of your email address is sufficient for the receipt of the newsletter. If you register for subscription to our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Within the scope of the subscription information may also be transmitted, which is relevant for the service or the registration (for example changes to the newsletter offer or technical conditions).

For an effective registration we need a valid email address. In order to check on whether a registration has in fact been carried out by the holder of the email address, we make use of the “Double-opt-in” procedure. For this purpose we record the order of the newsletter, the dispatch of a confirmation email and the receipt of the reply requested therein. Further data are not collected. By providing our email addresses we would like to provide you an uncomplicated process for contacting us. Your provided details are stored for the purpose of processing the request as well as for possible follow-up questions.

If you contact us in order to request an offer, the data provided in the email will be processed in order to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

Data will be erased no later than 6 months after processing of the request.

If a contractual relationship is concluded we will be subject to the statutory storage deadlines according to the HGB and will erase your data after expiry of these deadlines.

8. Trade fair contact

The data provided by you will be stored for the purpose of the individual communication with you. For this purpose it is necessary to process a valid email address as well as your telephone number. If requested, you will receive further information from us following the trade fair by post or personally by our specialist consultants. For this purpose it is additionally necessary to process your address.

The processing of your provided data is carried out on the basis of your explicitly granted consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) as well as on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

9. Request for information material

10. Job applications

Type and purpose of the processing:

The data entered by you or transmitted per email will be collected within the scope of an application procedure, with the purpose of making a decision about the establishment of an employment relationship.

Legal basis:

Your data will be processed on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1b GDPR in conjunction with Section
26 BDSG.

Recipients:

Recipients of your personal data are the Human Resources department and

the direct specialist superior of the sector, for which the job is advertised.

Storage duration:

If an employment relationship is established the data collected in the application procedure will be stored and used insofar and as long as this is necessary to carry out the employment relationship. Otherwise the personal data collected from you will be erased 6 months after the sending of the rejection.

Provision stipulated or necessary:

Your personal data are provided voluntarily. We can, however, only take your application into consideration if you notify us of the data that are customary for an application.

11. Use of Google Analytics

Type and purpose of the processing:

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (hereinafter: “Google”). Google Analytics utilises so-called “cookies”, i.e. text files which are stored on your computer and make it possible for your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie on your use of this website is, as a rule, transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If the IP anonymising function on this website is activated, however, your IP address is first abbreviated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address first transferred to a Google server in the USA and then abbreviated there. Your personal data are provided voluntarily, solely on the basis of your consent. If you prevent the access this may lead to restrictions to functions on the website.

Revocation of the consent:

You can prevent the storage of the cookies by means of the relevant setting on your browser software. We must however inform you that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of the website. You can moreover prevent the transfer to Google of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of the said data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: Browser Add On for the deactivation of Google Analytics.

In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our websites by clicking on this link. With the help of the tracking tool Google Analytics the behaviour of the visitors to the website can be assessed and the interests analysed. A pseudonymised user profile can be created for this purpose.

12. Use of Adobe Typekit

Type and purpose of the processing:

We use Adobe Typekit for the visual design of our website. Typekit is a service of Adobe Systems Software Ireland Companies (4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Republic of Ireland; hereinafter “Adobe”), which grants us access to a font library. For the integration of the fonts used by us, your browser must set up a connection to a server of Adobe in the USA and download the font that is required for our website. Provision stipulated or necessary:

The provision of the personal data is neither stipulated by law, nor as per contract. However, the correct presentation of the contents of standard fonts cannot be made possible if these data are not provided.
13. Google AdWords
Type and purpose of the processing:
Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. The operator company of the services of Google AdWords is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. If you have reached our website via advertising copy run by Google, a cookie will be placed on your computer by Google AdWords. The Conversion Tracking cookie is placed when a user clicks on an advertisement run by Google.

If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, it becomes apparent to us and Google that the user clicked on the advertisement and was directed onto the specific page. Every Google AdWords customer (i.e. advertiser) receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained with the help of the Conversion cookie makes it possible to compile Conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have decided to make use of Conversion Tracking. The customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were directed onto a page bearing a Conversion Tracking tag. Recipients:
With each visit to our website personal data, including your IP address will be transferred to Google in the USA. These personal data are stored by Google. Google will, under certain circumstances, forward these personal data collected through the technical process to third parties.

Our company does not receive any information from Google, by means of which the data subject could be identified.

Storage duration:
These cookies become invalid after 30 days and cannot be used to identify individual persons.

Transfer to third countries:
Google processes your data in the USA and has submitted itself to the EU_US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Revocation of the consent:
If you do not wish to take part in Tracking, you can refuse the setting of the cookie that is necessary for the purpose – for example by setting your browser to deactivate the automatic setting of cookies in their entirety or by setting it to block cookies from the domain”googleleadservices.com“.

Please note that you may not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you have decided against the recording of measurement data. If you have deleted all the cookies in your browser, you need to reset the opt-out cookie in each case.

14. SSL encryption
For the protection of your data during the transfer we use encryption procedures that correspond with the current state of technology (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

15. YouTube

We use the YouTube provider in order to incorporate videos in our website. YouTube belongs to Google Inc. and is based in San Bruno, California, USA.

The YouTube videos on this website have activated the so-called “extended data protection mode”. This extended data protection mode is made available by YouTube in order to ensure that YouTube does not store any cookies with personal data on your PC. When calling the website and for the incorporation of the videos the IP address is in fact transferred. However, this cannot be allocated should you not be registered at Youtube or another Google service when calling the site.

Through the extended data protection mode Youtube only stores cookies on your PC when replaying a video, which do not contain any personally identifiable data. These cookies can be prevented by your browser settings and/or extensions.

Please note that, as providers of the website, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or of their use by YouTube. If you do not wish YouTube to be able to allocate the visit to our website to your YouTube account, please log out of your YouTube account.
